Finish Selections
Our in-house design staff provides a hand-held approach with escorted visits to local suppliers to select from physical samples. These guided visits keep your project on track to achieve your desired design. This makes the selection process easy so you can be confident that your kitchen is well designed while staying within your budget.
We assist you with selections on the following items:
- Most kitchen designs begin with cabinet selection. Determining your door style and finish first helps guide the overall look of the kitchen. If you’re unsure of what style suits your personality or home most, check out these telltale elements of common design styles. There are dozens of door styles, wood species, paints, stains, and specialty techniques to choose from.
- Our most popular countertops are Cambria Quartz. During our selection visit, you’re able to view full Cambria slabs which allow you to capture the natural characteristics of each design.
- Backsplash tile offers an opportunity to inject color and/or texture to the kitchen. Opt for a simple tile in a unique pattern for subtle interest or make a statement with a bold, patterned tile.
- With remodeled spaces, removing walls can disrupt the flooring. Our talented team can patch and refinish existing hardwood flooring, install new or replace with popular products such as LVT, Luxury Vinyl Tile.
Lighting
- Lighting in the kitchen is key to performing specific tasks. We always prefer to integrate surface mount LEDs that blend seamlessly with your ceiling. In addition, pendant lights over an island add task lighting and style.
Cabinet pulls
- Cabinet pulls and knobs can draw influence from several elements within the kitchen such as appliances and lighting. A combination of pull types, knobs, and finishes can act as a supporting element in impacting the overall style and efficiency of your cabinetry.
Paint
- Typically paint colors are chosen last among our selections. With the 1000’s of colors to choose from, it’s easy to find one to compliment your selections and blend with the rest of your home. We offer 3 complimentary peel and stick, real paint samples so you can easily visualize the color and seamlessly move it around your room.
After your selections have been made and we are ready to start your project, we can schedule our Pre-Construction meeting. During this meeting, our team will review all of the details of your project, ensuring your dream Kitchen Design becomes a reality. We also review "Impact" items, such as floor protection, zip walls, and most of all how working in your home will impact you and your loved ones. These elements are critical to discuss as they provide safety and protection for your home and everyone in it.
